Taking Pictures in Heaven

Dear St. Francis friends and family,

After a long and amazing journey, our friend and church photographer James (Jim) Palka passed away on February 28, 2024. Through determination and the willingness to explore all types of treatments, he held out against his cancer much longer than was expected. I will miss his wonderful wit and the humorous emails we would send back and forth to each other. He was a blessing.
