Water in the Desert

Water in the Desert has been very busy and VERY successful at handing out cold bottled water and snack bags to homeless and needy people in Tucson.

However, we desperately need donations to help us keep up with the demand.

We need individual snack packs of:

*Nuts (almonds, cashews, variety)

*Granola Bars (Soft-style are best)

*Peanut Butter crackers

*Beef Jerky or Beef Sticks

*Chicken or Tuna Salad with crackers packets

*Veggie Straws snack bags

*Bottled Water

*Gatorade (small bottles please)

*Travel size cleansing cloths

*Travel size sunscreen

Donations can be brought to the church office during business hours  (Monday - Thursday 8:30 am to 4:00 pm,  Fridays, 8:30 am to noon) or on Sundays you can leave them in the Celebration Center, but please be sure they are marked for "Water in the Desert" so we know where they go!

You can also donate by check to "St. Francis in the Foothills" (with "Water in the Desert" in the memo line) or on our website  HERE.

So far, Jo Moody has been doing most of the driving around town and handing out bags. We would love (and could really use!) to have more folks help.

As always, thank you so much for your help and generosity.
