Part-Time Facilities Department
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Facilities Worker to assist with the upkeep, maintenance, and event support of our church facilities. Hours

20 Hours per week, days and times may vary depending on availability and needs.

Wage

$15.00 per hour
Responsibilities
-
Cleaning and maintaining church buildings, including janitorial duties such as mopping, vacuuming, and restroom upkeep.

Ensure all buildings are locked and secure after events or services.

Landscaping and maintenance around the church campus, including pruning and watering.

Assisting with rental events and event setup/takedown.

Performing repetitive lifting and moving of heavy objects, up to 50lbs.

Basic audio-visual operations.
Qualifications

Full-Time Administrator
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Full-Time Administrator to support the organization, communication, and day-to-day operations of our church community. Responsibilities

Manage St,Francis activities and events calendar, office planning calendar, facility reservations and rentals.

Works with and directs the Facilities Department on needed facility setups and staffing.

Prepare publications such as, but not limited to, monthly newsletters, church directories, holiday and special bulletins, and memorial programs.

Create and organize informational and announcement slides for Sunday services; creating full Sunday service slideshows if needed.

Maintain and organize all office forms for safekeeping, including but not limited to meeting minutes, correspondence, and other important documents.
-
Maintain paper files as necessary, i.e. vacation request forms, incident reports, etc.

Manage and maintain the membership database, including the 'Brown Membership Book'.

Schedule, attend, and direct weekly staff meetings, take and maintain 'meeting minutes', and distributing 'meeting minutes' to staff.

Manage and maintain bill payment, rental income, other deposits and receipts.
-
Manage and maintain payroll submissions and reporting, payroll system, personnel records, and oversee processing of paychecks and reports with payroll company.

Maintenance and upkeep of printers, phone system, internet, and office computers.
-
Order, maintain, and organize office supplies as needed.
-
Coordinate and supervise office and facilities staff, including but not limited to, hiring, supervisory and disciplinary actions, and use or accruement of vacation/personal time.

Assist with Annual Church Charge Conference reporting, packages, and documentation.
-
Maintain and oversee key distribution in connection with the Facilities Coordinator.

Work with the Pastor, Board of Trustees, Finance Team, and Church Council in developing and abiding by the Administrative Budget.

Serve as staff representative to the Finance Team.
-
Coordinate with Facilities Coordinator on building and grounds upkeep, repair, and equipment.

Order and distribute nametags for members and staff.

Perform additional duties as needed to support a welcoming and effective church environment.
Qualifications

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Be able to maintain a calm, professional demeanor in various situations.

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at once.

Experience with office systems, document management, and scheduling.

Basic knowledge of use and maintenance of printers, phone system, internet, computers, and basic AV operations.

Financial and bookkeeping knowledge preferred.

Familiarity with church operations.

Professional demeanor and collaborative spirit.

Ability to work independently and in coordination with church staff and lay leadership.

Have reliable transportation.
