Julius Caesar
A Staged Reading
Sunday, March 15th at 7pm
in the Celebration Center
St. Francis in the Foothills welcomes Studio Connections Theatre Company for a special staged reading of William Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar.
This thoughtfully abridged and annotated production, prepared by Mikus Lippmanicus and directed by Alex Totillo, brings Shakespeare’s powerful exploration of power, loyalty, and political upheaval to life in an engaging and accessible format.
Through the timeless story of Caesar’s rise and the conspiracy that follows, audiences are invited to reflect on questions that remain strikingly relevant today—leadership, democracy, ambition, and the cost of political action.
Following the performance, guests are invited to stay for refreshments and a post-show talkback discussion titled “Democracy on Edge,” offering an opportunity to explore the themes of the play together in conversation.
Admission is pay-what-you-wish, making this meaningful theatrical experience accessible to all.
Join us for an evening of classic theatre, thoughtful dialogue, and community reflection.
