A Week In Advance
Need something from the office or a member of it's staff? Whenever possible, please give us at least one week's notice for new projects. Whether it's printing, graphics, technology, facility requests, or event support, a little advance notice helps us say "yes" more often and do our best work for the entire church.

Carts Are Available For Use
Hello St. Francis Volunteers and Community Leaders!
We are no longer able to accommodate parking on the campus sidewalks for loading and unloading. This is a matter of safety for our brickwork, and most of all, for the safety of the children at the International School for Peace.
If you would like asistance with bringing items into the Community Hall, Celebration Center, or any of our other buildings, please notify the facilities office in advance, and we will male arrangements for a cart to be made available for you.

Shannon Sullivan's Latest Updates
October
Shannon continues to navigate a complex recovery as her medical team monitors both her giloblastoma tumor and serious fungal infection discovered during treatment for complications from earlier surgery. Chemotherapy has remained on hold while she receives antifungal treatment, and her doctors are also working to address the thin skin around a remaining left-side suture, possibly through plastic surgery.
There was encouraging news this month; testing for a prominent network of veins beneath Shannon's right chest found no cancer, and her doctor believes the change is likely a side effect of antifungal medication. Even more encouraging, Shannon's latest MRI showed that her tumor has not increased during the past four months while chemotherapy was paused.
Her chemotherapy doctor hopes to restart treatment once Shannon has healed from the anticipated plastic surgery. Her surgeon also adjusted her shunt following the MRI and is coordinating with the plastic surgeon to schedule the next steps. For now, Shannon is grateful for a week of postive appointments and is waiting for the remaining procedures to be scheduled.
