True Freedom

Galatians 5:13-14, 22-25

Lately we’ve had a lot of people trying to assert their “freedom.”

Yet, I wonder if Paul would agree with

what they are trying to claim.

In Galatians Paul writes that we are given freedom through Christ.

But, not as a gift allowing us to do whatever we want,

but as a responsibility to each other.

In return we receive "the fruit of the spirit.”

This includes joy, love, and peace

among other qualities.

These traits are the true reward (and result) of freedom.
