Directory photos have begun, and we invite you to stop by and be part of it. Updating our directory helps us put names to faces, strengthen connections, and make our community feel even more welcoming. Whether you’ve been here for years or are newly connected to St. Francis, your photo helps tell the story of who we are together.

UMC Social Principles

This United Methodist Social Principles class offers an opportunity to explore the values and commitments that shape the church’s engagement with the world. Together, participants will reflect on how faith informs our understanding of community, justice, care for creation, and responsibility to one another. Sophia's Circle

Sophia’s Circle is a gathering space for women of St. Francis to grow spiritually through learning, reflection, and meaningful connection.
This group is open to anyone who has attended St. Francis—even just once. Together, we explore a wide range of spiritual topics in a welcoming, supportive environment where honesty, curiosity, and laughter are always encouraged.
Laughter Yoga

Laughter Yoga is a simple, joyful practice that brings people together to breathe deeply, move gently, and most importantly , laugh freely. No jokes, no special poses, just the healing power of shared laughter and mindful breathing to lift your spirits and refresh your mind. Whether you come to release stress, connect with others, or simply enjoy a playful pause in your week, Laughter Yoga offers a lighthearted space where everyone is welcome. Come as you are and leave lighter than you came. All ages and abilities welcome.


Iskashitta Food Preservation Workshop

Join us for the Iskashitaa Food Prep Workshop, a hands-on opportunity to partner with the Iskashitaa Refugee Network in building connection and community right here in Tucson. Iskashitaa works to help rebuild refugee lives by creating meaningful partnerships between newcomers and local volunteers through shared work, conversation, and cultural exchange.
Through food preparation and collaborative effort, this workshop offers more than a practical task—it creates space for empowerment, relationship-building, and belonging. Programs with Iskashitaa emphasize community, cultural sharing, and English language practice, helping refugees thrive as they establish new roots. Whether you’re interested in gleaning, harvesting, food prep, or supporting language practice, this gathering is an invitation to step into connection and shared purpose.
Waer in the Desert
Bag Packing

This ministry thrives through the generosity of the community. Join water in the desert as we explore meaningful ways to care for our unhoused communities and wider community, through discussion, packing supply bags, and actionabe plans created together. No sign-up needed—just show up and help make a difference.


Centering Prayer

Centering Prayer is an invitation to rest in presence beyond words, thoughts, or expectations. In the stillness, we open ourselves to sacred listening; a gentle returning to the heart of faith. Whether you’re new to contemplative prayer or returning to silence after a long time away, this space welcomes you.
Mindful Movers

Join Shar for a four-week journey designed to ground the body, wake up the mind, and strengthen the quiet threads of community we weave together. Each gathering blends gentle movement, mindful practices, and simple brain-nourishing exercises that support focus, clarity, and emotional well-being.


Games For The Brain

Games for the Brain is a weekly gathering centered around connection, laughter, and keeping the mind engaged. Through board games and shared group activities, participants strengthen memory, problem-solving, and focus in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
Crafting Calm
Fridays at 11am
in Room 42
Crafting Calm is a creative sanctuary in the middle of a noisy world.
Here, slowing down isn’t just allowed, it’s the whole point. Whether you’re stitching a prayer shawl, sketching in a visual journal, or building a small altar from gathered things, each project becomes a doorway to presence, peace, and quiet joy.


Friday at the Movies

Manifesting Good is a space to reflect, realign, and root your life in intention.
Each session invites us to explore what it means to live consciously—guided by spiritual insight, shared wisdom, and the desire to bring more good into our lives and the world around us. Whether you’re nurturing new practices or deepening long-held beliefs, this group offers grounding conversation and meaningful connection.

Elevate Evening Service
Today, March 15th at 5pm
in the Community Center
Elevate Evening Service offers a different way to experience worship at St. Francis. This gathering creates space for creativity, reflection, and connection through a variety of expressions that may feel distinct from our traditional services. Designed to engage heart, mind, and community in fresh ways, Elevate invites participants to encounter worship with openness and curiosity.
Following the service, everyone is invited to stay and share a meal together, extending worship into conversation, connection, and community around the table.
Please note, the volume at this service is significantly elevated compared to other services.
