Enneagram Leadership Workshop

The Enneagram Leadership Workshop is a two-part experience designed to support leaders in growing self-awareness, strengthening communication, and navigating the natural tensions that come with working together in ministry. Rooted in practical application, this workshop moves beyond theory—offering tools that can be used immediately in real-life leadership situations.

Participants will explore how their unique perspective shapes decision-making, relationships, and responses to stress, while building a shared language that fosters greater understanding across teams.

What You'll Experience

This workshop combines teaching, reflection, and hands-on practice in a format designed for real-life application. Through large-group learning, small-group discussion, and guided exercises, participants will engage both individually and collaboratively.

Rather than simply learning concepts, participants will actively practice communication tools, reflect on their own leadership patterns, and work through common church scenarios in a supportive environment.

  • Enneagram Foundations

Participants will be introduced to the nine Enneagram types and the three centers of intelligence—head, heart, and gut—gaining insight into how different personalities approach leadership, decision-making, and relationships.

This foundation creates a deeper understanding of both individual strengths and the diverse perspectives present within a team.

  • Navigating Conflict with Clarity

Conflict is a natural part of working together, especially in spaces where people care deeply. This workshop offers a practical look at what happens in the brain and body during moments of stress, helping participants recognize patterns like reactivity, emotional overwhelm, and narrowed thinking.

By connecting these responses to the Enneagram, participants will begin to see how each type filters reality under pressure—and how greater awareness can shift the outcome of difficult conversations.

  • The Four P Protocol

At the heart of the workshop is a simple, repeatable framework for navigating challenging conversations:

Pause. Prompt. Paraphrase. Partner.

Participants will learn how to slow down reactivity, ask meaningful questions, reflect understanding, and move toward collaborative solutions. This process will be practiced in real scenarios, helping build confidence and clarity in communication.

  • Leadership in Practice

The workshop concludes by connecting these insights directly to leadership within the church. Participants will explore how different Enneagram types show up in leadership roles—both in their strengths and their blind spots—and begin to develop shared practices for working together more effectively.

The goal is not just personal growth, but a stronger, more connected leadership culture grounded in curiosity, respect, and collaboration.

What's Included

Each participant will receive a workbook that includes Enneagram overviews, notes on conflict and neurobiology, and guided practice materials for the Four P Protocol—offering a resource to return to long after the workshop ends.
