We are starting a new group called Water in the Desert to give water and supplies to the homeless here in Tucson during the hot summer months.
Several of our members will be going out each week to hand out water bottles and bags of food. If you would like to donate supplies, or help hand them out, please contact Jo Moody at 520-370-8472 (please call before 8:00 pm). Donations can be brought to the church office.
We need bottled water, granola bars, individual snack packs of nuts, beef jerky and peanut butter crackers. Individual cleansing wipes and small packets of insect repellent are helpful too. You can also purchase grocery gift cards from RaiseRight or make a monetary donation.
