Part-Time Audio/Visual Technician
We are seeking a dependable, creative, and team-oriented person to join our team at St. Francis in the Foothills. This position supports the sound, lighting, and visual needs of our worship services, concerts, community events, and facility rentals. Hours

On - Site at St. Francis in the Foothills

Part-time (approximately 4–10 hours per week), depending on events

Sunday mornings required (8:30 a.m. call time for 9:30 a.m. worship service)

Additional weekdays, evenings and/or weekend events as scheduled

Flexible scheduling — event offers are sent in advance, and you can accept based on availability
Wage

$17.75 per hour, with a four-hour minimum call for shorter shifts
Responsibilities

Operate live sound for celebration services, concerts, and community events, mixing pre-patched microphones and inputs for both in-person and livestream audiences.

Run audio, video, and lighting equipment during services and events, including PowerPoint, video routing, and streaming.

Assist with setup, troubleshooting, and teardown of A/V equipment and stage layouts for special events.

Support facility rentals and events, ensuring professional and friendly service to visiting groups.

Maintain a calm, professional presence during live productions and sensitive events such as memorials or celebrations of life.

Collaborate with staff and volunteers to ensure each event runs smoothly.
Qualifications

Experience with live sound mixing (analog and digital consoles).

Basic familiarity with projection, lighting, and streaming systems preferred — some training provided.

Strong communication skills and a professional, inclusive approach to teamwork.

Reliability and punctuality for scheduled services and events.

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in a variety of lighting and sound environments.

A mindset of calm problem-solving and attention to detail under timed pressure.
