Disco in the Desert

“Treasures for TIHAN,” the organization’s signature fundraising benefit, celebrates 29 years of TIHAN’s service to the community with a spectacular event—a sparkling Saturday afternoon of fun, entertainment, live and silent auction, and making an impact!
This year’s event is a ‘70s Disco-Themed Party and Benefit. Amazing auction items to bid on and win, a paddle raise to support essential programs and services, fun entertainment, a 70's costume contest, dancing (and 70's dance lessons), delicious food, and more—along with an opportunity to make a difference and support people living with HIV/AIDS.
This year’s event has two parts. The 10-day silent auction will be online and accepting bids from Friday, May 26 at 8am, and ending on Saturday, June 3 at 4:30pm. The online auction is free and open to all to bid.
The live in-person party is Saturday, June 3, from 2:00-5:00pm, Tickets for this year’s return to an in-person event are $100 each, or 2 for $150. A portion of each ticket price is tax-deductible.
New Event Venue:
Desert Diamond Hotel and Casino
We’re excited to have a new venue: the ballroom at Desert Diamond Hotel & Casino in Tucson, on Valencia and Nogales Highway. It’s a beautiful facility with lots of free parking, and the ballroom is right next to the casino, so you are welcomed to stay afterwards and continue the party.
Desert Diamond is offering us a special room rate if you want to stay overnight Friday or Saturday night to chill out in one of their comfortable hotel rooms. These special room rates start at $107. TIHAN is still accepting items for the silent auction—they’re looking for trips, gift certificates, and gift baskets of any theme.

All proceeds from the benefit will help TIHAN continue to serve people living with HIV/AIDS, helping them to live as well as possible, a mission which we support as a member faith community of TIHAN. Thank you!
