This ministry thrives through the generosity of the community. Here’s how you can make a difference:
• Volunteer Your Time — From greeting at the front desk to helping with events or serving at POZ Café, volunteers make everything possible.
• Decorate Care Packages — Turn a simple bag of toiletries into a meaningful gift by helping decorate and prepare care packages for delivery.
• Become a Faith Community Liaison — Help strengthen the connection between your congregation and TIHAN’s work.
• Spread Awareness — Share TIHAN’s mission, help reduce stigma, and invite others to learn more.
Compassion, Dignity, and Hope
TIHAN offers hearts and hands to provide compassionate, non-judgmental service to people living with HIV and AIDS in Tucson. Through education, support, and community action, TIHAN helps build bridges, reduce stigma, and sustain hope for individuals and families affected by HIV.
In partnership with individuals and faith communities, TIHAN’s volunteers stand alongside neighbors with practical help, encouragement, and respect, reminding each person they are not alone.
Our Impact
TIHAN’s programs and volunteers make a difference in countless ways: hosting monthly POZ Café meals where people living with HIV can gather in fellowship and connection, delivering care packages filled with essentials and love, providing education that breaks down barriers and stigma, and offering vital emotional and spiritual support through community partners.
Together, TIHAN empowers people to live well, share their stories, and build community rooted in dignity and care.
